I am working with Ashya  in peer tutoring. First we had to start reading to us. We got a recording book into which we write what the kids read to us. Then if they had done well they colour in a circle in a turtle. When they get the turtle coloured in they received a certificate to take.

I am working with Vanisha in the morning for peer tutoring. We are peer tutoring to help students learn to read. We work with the kids in the cottage. When the kids do a good job they get to colour in a circle on a turtle.

I am doing special reading with little kids that need to learn how to read. I am doing reading with Zac  and he is doing well. We have been doing this for 3 months after training for 3 weeks. He is enjoying this very much and Zac says that he loves coming to reading and that he is learning a lot and now he wants to come every day and he is trying to come early every day so that he can come. He is learning heaps of words and learning how to read more bigger and speaking a little bit louder. Every morning we put his recordings books in a book. He has had read heaps of books all ready. He is learning new games. We use a turtle for a treat and they colour in a shape on the turtle and when the turtle is finished and filled with colour we give them a certificate and see how much they get and Zac has  had 5 certificates already and  he is getting better at reading and playing games.

 We have been tutoring some little kids in reading. We had 3 weeks of training. We had 5 weeks of learning and I am working with Daniel. my favourite part is listening to Daniel reading and playing games.

We have been doing peer tutoring for 7 weeks with the kids and I found out what it is like to be a teacher. Now I know how fast Grady can read. and I made a memory game for Grady and he likes playing it.

I am working with Keenan  in the cottage. Keenan is a red dot reader. When he finishes reading he coloured in a dot on the turtle twice. Once he has coloured in 5 dots he gets a certificate but the tutor gets a bug when we get 10 bugs we get a free super Doper.

I am working with Rebeca . I think Rebeca can do better at reading because Rebeca doesn't give enough thought into the words. Every Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday we let our student choose a book to read and then we listen to them read. Then we write the words that they got wrong on a card and then after she finish reading they have to practice saying that word. at the end of the lesson we let them colour a spot on their turtle and may-be they get a certificate. It fell great that I can help year 2 kids like Rebeca at reading.
